Old Collegian Christian Hanna has brought technology and innovation to an old-school craft - Sign-Writing. His hard work is paying off. We visited Christian at his workshop and found that his career journey was filled with many twists and turns.
Another brililant Networking event. This time breakfast at Zagame Autmotive in Richmond. There is nothing like luxury cars to bring people together. And thanks to Old Collegian Bobby Zagame, this proved to be no exception as our membersa and supporters came in great numbers at this sold out function.
Breaking with tradition we held this event in the beautiful warehouse and showrooms of James Richardson Furniture. A fabulous place for this gathering, surrounded by the old brick walls and some very desirable furniture pieces. Our host and major sponsor for the year, Brett Guest welcomed the group
The last Business Breakfast for 2016 was held back at Marcellin in our wonderful Functions Room, very ably catered for by Green Leaf Catering who provided a delicious breakfast (in fact it was so good, many guests went off with their business card!).
After attending the Linkedin session entitled 'Rock Your Profile' one early morning, we were then invited back to a session specifically aimed at employers: 'How to Attract the Best Talent' on August 11th.
On June 8, the Business Network headed in to Southbank to attend a session entitled ‘Rock Your Profile’ at the Linkedin offices. Old Collegian James Delahunty facilitated this morning, and we were very happy to turn up on a cold Melbourne morning to find a barista serving delicious coffee, plus a delicious and healthy breakfast.
The Business Network ran a very successful evening on Wednesday May 18. Numbers were smaller than anticipated, but in hindsight, a big positive for those who attended, as there was a real 'buzz' in the air, and a lot of serious and very useful networking taking place.
