Friday morning Nov 29 saw 52 participants join us for the inaugural Marcellin Business Breakfast.  Although very early in the morning, the enthusiasm and positive atmosphere throughout the room was very exciting for the organisers.

We would like to thank the men and women who attended.  Hopefully everyone left with a sense of anticipation and interest as to what this organisation will be able to offer both to individual businesses and the Marcellin Foundation.

We were welcomed by Mark Cooper (head of the Business Network).  Mark Murphy (College Prinicipal) then spoke, outlining the goals of the College and giving an explanation of the fundamentals of the Foundation.  He was followed by Chris Mirabella, an ex parent who is heading up the direction and organisation of the Foundation.

Guest speaker was Mike Gregory who inspired everyone with his tales of swimming the English Channel, around Manhattan Island, and across Port Phillip Bay.  His presentation linked his achievements to the theme of Goal Setting and how it can apply across the board both personally and in business.  Read more and see our photo gallery here.

Next year will see more of these Business Breakfasts taking place.  So if you missed out last week, there will be plenty of chances to be involved.  There will be breakfasts on a theme, and various speakers so keep an eye out!
